KELOWNA – It’s do or die for the Kelowna Rockets. Win and they continue their playoff run, lose and they’re sent packing.
It’s not the situation the club had hoped for heading back to Prospera Place, down 3-1 to the Portland Winterhawks in the best of 7 series.
“When our backs are against the wall or when we face a bit of adversity our players have typically responded looking forward to doing that [Friday],” said Rockets coach Ryan Huska.
It will be no easy feat. The Rockets will need to stay out of the box, as penalty trouble was the difference maker in game 4.
They’ll also look to their veteran players for some spark, who have for the most part been fairly quiet in this Western Conference final.
