While the sound of the saxophone has been a longtime staple in rock music from Big Joe Turner’s “Shake, Rattle and Roll” to Gerry Rafferty’s “Baker Street,”Courtney Love is letting it be known that she’s on the side of those who believe those bleating brass strains need to be as far from rock and roll as possible.
“I like Nebraska,” she says as something of a disclaimer at the start of the clip regarding the classic rocker’s legendary 1982 solo album. “Whenever I say that to a Springsteen person, they look at me funny.” [ed.
