BOSTON (CBS) – Another day closer to the big race and the weather continues to look favorable for Marathon Monday.
In fact, this year’s conditions may very well end up being near ideal for runners.
It is still a bit too early to “lock it up” and call for a lovely run from Hopkinton to Boston on Monday for a few reasons.
First, we are still five days out, still nearly an eternity for our atmosphere, and lots can and will change.
Second, there will be a few weather fronts in the vicinity, complicating the forecast a bit. We can still say with a good deal of certainty that there will be no major weather issues – no nor’easters or significant storms, no heatwaves or bitter cold and no strong winds on Monday.
