CALGARY- Part of a busy bridge along Deerfoot Trail will be shut down for several hours on Monday evening.
Carmacks, which does maintenance on the roadway, says there will be closures on the Calf Robe Bridge to allow for repairs on a broken expansion joint. Work was originally set to happen during a previously scheduled cleaning of the area, but an inspection found the joint is getting worse.
At this point, it does not appear to be a safety hazard.
The closure will affect the inside lane of southbound Deerfoot Trail.
