Shootings connected in Saskatoon, Clavet

SASKATOON – Separate vehicle shootings in Clavet and Saskatoon early Sunday morning have been connected to the same suspects.

The first shooting happened in Clavet, about 30 kilometres west of Saskatoon, early Sunday morning.

RCMP were called to a business in the 10-block of Main Street around 1:45 a.m. where officers found one vehicle damaged from a gunshot and six vehicles with slashed tires.

Mounties alerted Saskatoon police of the situation.

Around 15 minutes later, a shot was fired at a northbound vehicle on Circle Drive at Attridge Drive.

No one was injured in either shooting.

The investigation led Saskatoon police to a residence in the 1600-block of Avenue H North where a 17-year-old teen was arrested at 5 a.m.

A second person, a 20-year-old man, was picked up an hour later in the area of Sturby Place. He was originally wanted for obstructing a police officer.
