Last week, after more than 30 years in Canada, Wolf Blass Wines announced a partnership with grassroots entrepreneur organization Startup Canada with a special contest giving away $10,000 to a Canadian to start-up their idea.
What has been the greatest achievement of your career?
Winning the Jimmy Watson Trophy for the best red wine from the Melbourne Wine Show in 1974 really put me on the map. When I accepted the trophy I told the audience [1000 of them] that my wine was “sexy…it made strong women weak and weak men strong.” I received an enormous amount of publicity!
